The Asia Pacific Association of Political Consultants is a professional group of political, marketing, public relations and media experts dedicated to fostering democracy throughout the Asia Pacific region.

The association holds an annual conference in a country to be agreed by the site committee where members can meet and exchange ideas about the political process.

These conferences allow our members and political professionals to:

• Discuss and review major world political trends, and issues impacting on nations and peoples. 
• Talk and analyze major elections throughout the world and particularly in the Asia Pacific region.
• Review previous campaign strategies with case histories.
• Update polling and research techniques.
• Receive expert briefings on new developments in communications, media, marketing and new technologies.

Where appropriate, the APAPC holds its annual conference in nations where interesting political developments are underway. Typically, about half of the conference agenda is devoted to politics of the host region or country. The other half of the conference is dedicated to analyzing developments in the rest of the world.

The annual business meeting of members, election of directors and related business is also held to coincide with the annual conference.
